INTRODUCTION
Effectively managing the technical side of change contributes for being a successful organization while the inability to manage the technical side of change can have disastrous effects. Management of Change is a structured process used to review all proposed changes to equipment, raw materials, processes, and procedures before the changes are implemented to evaluate the impact and risks associated with the change. It also includes a review and authorization process for evaluating proposed adjustments to facility design, operations, organization, or activities prior to implementation to make certain that no unforeseen new hazards are introduced and that the risk of existing hazards to employees, the public, or the environment is not unknowingly increased.
